About Paul
I’m a retired Engineer. I served in the Navy, I’m a Vietnam Veteran, served as radio communicator and qualified aboard the nuclear submarine USS Permit (SSN594). I received my BSEE in Denver Colorado. As Senior Electrical Engineer, I worked in the hard rock mining industry and was in charge of 32 electric locomotives at AMAX. I was a Commissioning Engineer of WAMATA METRO subway cars (Washington DC) and MTA subway cars (Baltimore, MD). I served twenty years as Foreign Service Specialist Officer; Engineer with the Voice of America. My family and I lived overseas for ten years. A few of my favorite avocations are studying science, math, oil painting and building my home. My lovely wife and I have three adult daughters who are all married to great guys whom I have great respect for. My wife and I make our home in northern Virginia.
